| HOW TO HELP There are various areas where the Academy is in need of the generosity and assistance of students, friends, and sponsors in order to continue and expand its activities:

PGP Fund. Donations received for the PGP scholarship fund enables the Academy to accept monks for the 3 year Post Graduate Program who wish to study at IBA but lack any source of financial support. Learn more...

Library. Donations are still needed to help provide funding for the library to purchase reference books for the students' use, as well as to collect Dharma texts in Tibetan, English and other languages for the use of scholars, translators and practitioners.

Technological enhancement. Funding is urgently needed to upgrade the Academy's computer network system which is currently using old software and in dire need of upgrading. A computer system is also needed for the library's use, including cataloging, storing of electronic media dharma materials, and archiving of ongoing and completed translation work.

Translation, publication and printing of precious Sakya works and Buddhist texts obtained from Tibet. Monies received will be used to help sponsor translators for critical translation of Tibetan Buddhist texts into English and other languages, as well as to fund the publication of Dharma texts for free distribution to monastic institutes, students and practitioners who require them.
